like the best about working here is that you're
treated like a person, not an employee number.
Commodore says they value their people, and though
many companies make that boast, Commodore makes it

Thanks to you and your team for the heroic efforts that were required to complete the build out and
allow Acadian to move into our new space this weekend. I am greatly appreciative of all that went into this effort, from timely decision making, to implementing alternative courses of action, and to working Saturdays, Sundays, and round-the-clock shifts to name a few. The October 1 move-in date was driven by Acadian's business needs. Meeting this goal allows Acadian to meet our clients' objectives without interruption and to further support our growth. I am very happy that we were able to meet this goal. The space looks great! Thanks again for a job well done.

Heather Seymour describes herself as a tomboy. She grew up in Plainville, CT, playing with her younger brother and all the boys in the neighborhood, since there weren't any girls near by. Their days were spent riding bikes, playing football and army. When she wasn't with the boys, she was drawing. By the 5th grade, she was making floor plans for her fantasy house. The house is still a vision, but those early days in Plainville laid the foundation for a very real career in construction.
Still one of the boys in high school, she chose drafting as an elective in one of the first schools in the US to have multi-stations of Auto-cad. She designed a house and built a model in her senior year, the only female student in the school to take all four years of drafting.

Harry Martins is what Newton calls “homegrown.” He grew up on Melrose Street, playing baseball and taking things apart…transistor radios, bikes, toys…it didn't matter what. If there weren't a lot of parts left over when he put things back together, he considered it “a good sign.”
In high school, Harry played lacrosse, baseball, hockey, clarinet and the saxophone. He worked in a machine shop after school, assembling parts and learning to use the milling and drill presses. Math and science came easy and he entertained visions of designing automobile engines. |

Bob Otto wasn't always into plumbing. He grew up in North Central Massachusetts, with a passion for rocks and a penchant for sports. His mother was an Elite freestyle swimmer and his father ran the family firearms business. Bob and his brother and sisters spent their early years swimming and water skiing on Lake Winnipesaukee.
Throughout high school, Bob played football, basketball, baseball and even the trumpet for the school band. But his greatest school success came in the 10th grade when he took up tennis. He became ranked as one of the top tennis players in New Hampshire. Between high school sports, the National Honor Society and a budding social life, Bob still found time for school work. He was particularly drawn to math and science – an attraction that would stick with him throughout his life. In 1972 he was nominated by his high school to go to the National Youth Conference in Science and the Environment. |

Mike McLaughlin's roots are in construction. Since his grandparents' generation, his family's been in the business. He met his wife on a construction site and now his three young sons have enough Tonka trucks between them to start their own company.
Born and raised in Scituate, MA, Mike is the oldest of three children. He was building cities out of Legos before he was old enough to visit a jobsite. In high school he took drafting classes and worked for his uncle's residential construction company.
Mike went to UMass, Amherst. He majored in Liberal Arts, but never lost his love for building... |

The Stata basement project had a very tight schedule and there were a number of challenges. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude toward a job well done. Rob, Mike and Shawn did an excellent job in managing the schedule and cost of this project. The end-user is very happy with the results, as is MIT. We look forward to working with you in the future. Thank You.
