Andy Fraser Leaves Commodore

Andy Fraser, a project executive and founding principal of Commodore, will be leaving the firm to pursue other interests as an Owner’s Project Manager. According to Andy, “I’ve always envisioned myself in this role, at this stage of my career and the timing is right to make the move.”

Andy's career spanned 24 years with Turner and Columbia, before joining the fledgling Commodore Builders back in mid-2003. Andy brought with him a portfolio of signature projects, including Two International Place and One Cambridge Center. According to Joe Albanese, CEO of Commodore, Andy Fraser’s leadership made a significant impact on the firm. “Andy brought immediate credibility to our young firm and his presence allowed me to serve in the Middle East.  His strong character, reputation and industry relationships helped us gain the kinds of opportunities that have enabled Commodore to grow. He leaves an indelible hand print on our company.”

Andy describes his 8 years at Commodore as a rewarding time in his career. “There’s nothing like going from 0 to $100M – we accomplished a lot, and now I’m going to the other side of the table – an experience I haven’t had yet in my career.”

Andy will remain at Commodore until the end of the year.
