Located on the 52nd floor of 200 Clarendon, Adage Capital’s rapid expansion required a second phased, occupied renovation shortly after Commodore completed the initial build-out of the existing space.
Construction consisted of three new conference rooms, connecting stairway, kitchen space, offices, refinished flooring and complete carpet replacement. The kitchen area was re-built with cherry cabinets and flooring. The ceiling was treated with a baswaphon coating to ensure the highest level of acoustical integrity and lighting fixtures were chosen carefully to fit the new ceiling material.
Commodore worked extensively with Gensler during the preconstruction process to prepare for the intricate installation of the center-stringer-stair design.
Burl eucalyptus millwork was chosen for the office front system to match the existing space. Specialty metal was used on a slat-wall ornamental system to block the conference room from the stair.
A golf shoot was installed on the 52nd floor for successful putters who can find their ball on the 51st floor. |
