Ariad is engaged in the
discovery and development of breakthrough medicines to treat cancer by
regulating cell signaling with small molecules.
Ariad hired Commodore
Builders as the Construction Manager for this multi-phased renovation of
their occupied facility. The renovations were required for Ariad’s expanding
research in the development of breakthrough cancer products.
Because we understood
their ultimate business goals, we were able to work with Ariad and architect
Perkins + Will, to devise a fast-track, 4-month phased construction schedule
that minimized disruption to Ariad’s ongoing operations. The existing space
was transformed into new R&D wet labs, an animal suite and additional office
space. Significant infrastructure upgrades were necessary to support the new
space requirements. Commodore also completed numerous miscellaneous
renovations throughout the building, including the 5-story atrium and glass
entry. |
