Cleveland-based KeyCorp
is one of the nation's largest bank-based financial services companies, with
assets of $92 billion. The 25,000 SF space on the 18th floor of 225 Franklin
Street required an interior fit-out to consolidate three separate banking
divisions. Key Bank selected Commodore for the job.
We immediately embraced
the challenge of delivering the project on budget and within an extremely
compressed timeframe. The scope of work included selective demolition,
millwork, doors, frames, hardware, glazing, drywall, acoustical ceilings,
carpet and resilient flooring, painting and wall covering, fire protection,
plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
Communication was truly
essential, since Commodore was working with the landlord, Equity Office
Partners and with the Key Bank representative overseeing the project from a
remote location. All parties needed to be included in every decision and not
a minute could be wasted.
“With
a two month construction schedule, a diverse group of consultants, vendors
and suppliers, the communication and attention to detail spear-headed by
Commodore Builders resulted in a superior outcome.”
- Steve Castagnier
