Lightbridge is a
transaction processing company, based in Burlington, MA. Their
80,000 SF
corporate headquarters was constructed in an existing 3-story office
building and completed on a fast-track schedule.
Construction
commenced on February 1st with a move-in date planned for Memorial
Day weekend. Commodore Builders turned the 3-floor project over in
phases. The first floor was substantially completed in just under 12
weeks, exactly on schedule for the holiday weekend move. Unique
features of this headquarters facility include curved partitions and
patterned flooring, extensive millwork, all new MEP systems,
extensive lighting and tel/data. A 3,400 SF data center was
constructed within the space, on raised flooring. A 60-seat tiered
Orpheum assembly room, complete with state of the art audio visual
equipment, and luxurious conference rooms were constructed adjacent
to the reception area. |
