An extensive pre-construction effort preceded the start of this three-phase occupied renovation for Fiduciary Trust, at 175 Federal Street in Downtown Boston.
The three-floor renovation included a new data center, interconnecting staircase, offices, kitchen, conference rooms, new MEPs, millwork, paint and carpet throughout. The phasing was done by floor, while existing data center operations remained undisrupted throughout construction. Extra precautions were required to mitigate dust while the floors were gutted and then replaced around the existing equipment. Special care was taken to ensure a seamless transition to the new data center.
